Der Einkauf

Anna is seeing her friend Sophia in the town centre on Wednesday. They are walking on the street when Anna stops at a shop.

Anna trifft ihre Freundin Sophia am Mittwoch im Stadtzentrum. Sie gehen auf der Straße als Anna an einem Geschäft anhält.

“Sophia, look at this skirt. Do you like it?”

„Sophia, schau dir diesen Rock an. Gefällt er dir?”

“Which one? The brown one?”

„Welcher? Der braune?”

“No, the yellow one. I want to buy new clothes for our summer holiday.”

„Nein, der gelbe. Ich will neue Kleidung für unseren Sommerurlaub kaufen.”

“When are you going? In June or July?”

„Wann fahrt ihr? Im Juni oder Juli?”

“No, our holiday is in August. We're going to the beach. I hope that the weather will be good.”

„Nein, unser Urlaub ist im August. Wir fahren an den Strand. Ich hoffe dass das Wetter gut sein wird.”

They enter the shop.

Sie betreten den Laden.

“Anna, look! The trousers and the T shirt are both orange. Would you dress like this?”

„Anna, schau! Die Hose und das T-Shirt sind beide orange. Würdest du dich so anziehen?”

“Oh, no, never! I'm too fat for that. Do you like these black jeans?”

„Oh nein, niemals! Ich bin zu fett dafür. Magst du diese schwarze Jeans?”

“Yes, I do like them. And you'll look so slim and stylish in them.”

„Ja, ich mag sie - und Du wirst so schlank und stilvoll in ihr aussehen.”

“I'll also buy a new shirt with long sleeves for Ben.”

„Ich werde auch ein neues Hemd mit langen Ärmeln für Ben kaufen.”

“This one? It's a nice blue, isn’t it?”

„Dieses? Eine schönes Blau, oder?”

“Yes, it is fashionable, but it might be too big for him?”

„Ja, es ist modisch, aber vielleicht ist es zu groß für ihn?”

“No, it's size seventeen. He always wears sixteen or seventeen. I could also buy a new belt for him.”

„Nein, es ist Größe siebzehn. Er trägt immer sechzehn oder siebzehn. Ich könnte auch einen neuen Gürtel für ihn kaufen.”

“I don’t think they sell them here.”

„Ich glaube nicht, dass sie die hier verkaufen.”

Anna pays for the jeans and the shirt and they leave the shop.

Anna bezahlt die Jeans und das Hemd und sie verlassen den Laden.

“It's time for lunch and I'm hungry now. Do you think they sell sandwiches at the bar here?”

„Es ist Zeit zum Mittagessen und ich bin jetzt hungrig. Denkst du sie verkaufen Sandwiches an der Bar hier?”

“Yes, they do.”

„Ja, das tun sie.”

The bar is next to the park. They sit down at a table. A waiter comes and they order sandwiches and black tea.

Die Bar ist am Park. Sie setzen sich an einen Tisch. Ein Kellner kommt und sie bestellen Sandwiches und schwarzem Tee.

After lunch they ask for the bill.

Nach dem Mittagessen verlangen sie die Rechnung.

“Thirteen euros and ten cents, please.”

„Dreizehn Euro und zehn Cent bitte.”

Sophia gives him a 20 Euro note and he gives her the change.

Sophia gibt ihm einen 20 Euro Schein und er gibt ihr das Wechselgeld zurück.

“Goodbye.”

„Auf Wiedersehen.”

“Bye.”

„Tschüss.”
