Samstag Abend

Anna and Ben are back from their holidays in October. It is Saturday and Anna and Sophia will be going out. They are in the bathroom and do their make-up in front of the mirror. They listen to their favourite songs on the radio.

Im Oktober sind Anna und Ben aus ihren Ferien zurück. Es ist Samstag und Anna und Sophia werden ausgehen. Sie sind im Bad und machen ihr Make-up vor dem Spiegel. Sie hören ihre Lieblingssongs im Radio.

Anna has painted her nails. She is now carefully putting on her tights.

Anna hat ihre Nägel lackiert. Jetzt zieht sie vorsichtig ihre Strumpfhose an.

Sophia puts cream on her cheeks with her fingers. She puts on her silver earrings and a necklace with a gold cross.

Sophia trägt mit ihren Fingern Creme auf ihre Wangen auf. Sie legt ihre silbernen Ohrringe und eine Halskette mit einem goldenen Kreuz an.

“Anna, do you have a comb anywhere? I can't find my hairbrush and hairdryer.”

„Anna, hast du irgendwo einen Kamm? Ich kann meine Haarbürste und den Fön nicht finden.”

Anna looks around.

Anna sieht sich um.

“Ah, the brush is behind the shampoo bottle. And next to the soap are the scissors and the comb.”

„Ah, die Bürste ist hinter der Shampoo Flasche. Und neben der Seife liegen die Schere und der Kamm.”

Sophia goes into the dining room with her wine glass and turns on the TV with the remote control.

Sophia kommt mit ihrem Weinglas ins Esszimmer und schaltet den Fernseher mit der Fernbedienung an.

Ben is working on his computer.

Ben arbeitet an seinem Computer.

“Good evening, Ben!”

„Guten Abend, Ben!”

“Hello Sophia! I like the curly hair.”

„Hallo Sophia! Das lockige Haar gefällt mir.”

“Thank you! Do you want to join us later? We're going to that new bar and to the disco afterwards.”

„Vielen Dank! Willst du dich uns später anschliessen? Wir gehen zu dieser neuen Bar und danach in die Disco.”

“I would like to, but I have to finish this. The deadline's tomorrow morning.”

„Ich würde gerne, aber ich muss dies fertig machen. Die Deadline ist morgen früh.”

“Will you be able to come later?”

„Wirst du später kommen können?”

“I don’t know, I need maybe another two hours. I have to draw a cartoon.”

„Ich weiß es nicht, ich brauche vielleicht noch zwei Stunden. Ich muss einen Cartoon zeichnen.”

“Call us when you're done with the job. We're seeing a film first. There's also a party we can take you to later. There'll even be dancing.”

„Ruf uns an, wenn du den Auftrag fertig hast. Wir werden zuerst einen Film schauen. Es gibt auch eine Party, zu der wir dich später mitnehmen können. Dort wird es sogar Tanz geben.”

“I'll send you a message. I have to take this to the post by 8pm. See you later.”

„Ich werde dir eine Nachricht senden. Ich muss es bis 20 Uhr zur Post bringen. Bis später.”
