La stanza è pulita e c'è un letto matrimoniale.
C'è anche un bagno con doccia e toilette.
The room is clean and has a double bed. It also
has a bathroom with a shower and a toilet.
Guarda, si vedono le barche fuori.
“Look, you can see the boats outside.”
Pensi che l'hotel abbia una piscina? "
“Do you think the hotel has a swimming pool?”
No, non la ha. Ma possiamo andare a nuotare a mare.
“No, it doesn't. But we can swim in the sea.”
Davvero? Faceva molto freddo la scorsa settimana. Penso
che sarà tantofreddoquanto in inverno.
“Really? It was very cold last week. I think it'll be as
cold as in winter.”
Ci proverò comunque!
“I'll try it anyway!”
Loro scendono le scale dal secondo piano
fino al piano terra e lasciano l'hotel. Nel giardino dell'hotel ci
sono alcune sedie. Ben prende il cellulare per controllare le
sue mail.
They are going down the stairs from the second floor
to the ground floor and leave the hotel. In the hotel garden are some chairs.
Ben takes his mobile phone to look at his emails.
Bene, siamo in vacanza! Dimentica Internet e il tuo lavoro.
“Ben, we're on holiday! Forget the internet and your work.”
Solo un minuto, Anna. Sto aspettando una risposta dal mio
capo.
“Just a minute, Anna. I'm waiting for an
answer from my boss.”
Anna è annoiata. Prende il suo libro e inizia a leggere
mentre Ben risponde alle mail. Quindi prende una penna per
scrivere una lettera.
Anna is bored. She takes her book and starts to read

A man comes into the garden with his son and daughter
and they start to throw a ball. The little girl does not
catch the ball and is looking for it between the trees.
It is getting too hot in the sun. The boybegins
to cry but his sister laughs.
Ben chiede se può prendere in prestito la loro scacchiera.
Ben asks whether he can borrow their chessboard.
Anna, gioca a scacchi contro di me.
“Anna, play chessagainst me.”
No grazie. Penso che tu sia decisamente migliore di
me.
“No, thanks. I believe you're much better than I
am.”
Oh, andiamo, questa non è una scusa. Dovresti
almeno provare a vincere.
“Oh, come on, that's no excuse. You should try
to win.”
