Ils veulent se promener dans la campagne et aussi jouer au
tennis.
They are going to the sea and will stay therefor fourteennights. They want to go walking in the countryside
and will also play tennis.
Ils prennent un taxi à l’hôtel. Ils reçoivent les clés
de leur chambre et y portent leurs sacs.
They take a taxi to the hotel. They get the keys
for their room and carry their bags to it.
La chambre est propre et il y a un lit double.
Il y a également une salle de bain avec douche et WC.
The room is clean and has a double bed. It also
has a bathroom with a shower and a toilet.
« Regarde, tu peux voir les bateaux dehors. »
“Look, you can see the boats outside.”
« Tu penses que l'hôtel a une piscine? »
“Do you think the hotel has a swimming pool?”
« Non, il n’en a pas. Mais nous pouvons nager dans
la mer. »
“No, it doesn't. But we can swim in the sea.”
« Vraiment? Il faisait très froid la semaine dernière.
Je pense qu'elle sera aussifroidqu’en hiver. »
“Really? It was very cold last week. I think it'll be as
cold as in winter.”
« Je vais l’essayer quand même! »
“I'll try it anyway!”
Ils descendentl’escalier de la deuxième étage
au rez-de-chaussée et quittent l'hôtel. Il y a quelques chaises
dans le jardin de l'hôtel. Ben prend son téléphone portable pour voir
ses emails.
They are going down the stairs from the second floor
to the ground floor and leave the hotel. In the hotel garden are some chairs.
Ben takes his mobile phone to look at his emails.
« Ben, nous sommes en vacances! Oublie l’internet
et ton travail. »
“Ben, we're on holiday! Forget the internet and your work.”
« Juste une minute, Anna. J'attends
une réponse de mon patron. »
“Just a minute, Anna. I'm waiting for an answer
from my boss.”
Anna est ennuyé. Elle prend son livre et
commence à lire pendant que Ben répond aux emails. Puis elle
prend un stylo pour écrire une lettre.
Anna is bored. She takes her book and starts to read
while Ben is answering emails. Then she takes a pen to write a letter.
Un homme entre dans le jardin avec son fils et
sa fille et ils commencent à lancer un ballon. La petite
fille n'attrape pas le ballon et le chercheentre
les arbres. Il fait trop chaud au soleil. Le garçoncommence
à pleurer mais sa sœur rie.
A man comes into the garden with his son and daughter
and they start to throw a ball. The little girl does not
catch the ball and is looking for it between the trees.
It is getting too hot in the sun. The boybegins
to cry but his sister laughs.
Ben demande s'il peut emprunter leur échiquier.
Ben asks whether he can borrow their chessboard.
« Anna, joue aux échecscontre moi. »
“Anna, play chessagainst me.”
« Non merci. Je crois que tu es meilleur que
moi. »
“No, thanks. I believe you're much better than I
am.”
« Oh, allez, ce n'est pas une excuse. Tu
devrais essayer de gagner. »
“Oh, come on, that's no excuse. You should try
to win.”
