Vanno a casa dei suoi genitori in macchina.

They drive to his parents' house by car.

Oggi è il compleanno del fratello minore di Ben, Chris.

Today is the birthday of Ben’s little brother, Chris.

La madre di Ben apre la porta.

Ben’s mother opens the door. 

Ciao Mamma!

“Hello Mum!”

Ciao Ben! Ciao Anna!

“Hello Ben! Hello Anna!”

Salve, Signora Dast! Grazie per avermi invitata oggi.

“Hi, Mrs Dast! Thank you for inviting me today.”

Figurati, Anna! Siamo felici di conoscerti. Ben parla molto di te.

“Of course, Anna! We're happy to meet you. Ben talks a lot about you.”

Vanno dentro. Il signor Dast è in salotto. Lui mette della musica.

They go inside. Mr Dast is in the living room. He puts on music.

Ciao papà! Che cosa fai? 

“Hello Dad! What are you doing?”

Ben, dov'è il CD? Non è nel lettore CD.

“Ben, where's the CD? It's not in the CD player.”

Tesoro, questa è Anna, la ragazza di Ben.

“Darling, this is Anna, Ben’s girlfriend.”

 Oh, mi dispiace. Non l'avevo vista. Buon Pomeriggio Anna! Come stai?

“Oh, I’m sorry. I didn't see her. Good afternoon, Anna, how are you?”

 Sto bene, grazie. E lei? 

“Thank you, I'm well. And you?”

 Molto bene, grazie!

“Very well, thanks!”

Ben aiuta la madre a preparare il caffè in cucina. Poi, vanno fuori a sedersi in giardino.

Ben helps his mother to make coffee in the kitchen. Then they go outside to sit in the garden.

Il padre di Ben porta la torta di compleanno. Loro cominciano a cantare "Tanti Auguri".

Ben’s father brings the birthday cake. They start to sing 'Happy Birthday'.

Chris ha un nuovo cellulare, che ha ricevuto come regalo di compleanno.

Chris has a new phone, which he got as a birthday present.

Ben gli dà un DVD.

Ben gives him a DVD.

Tanti Auguri! Ecco qualcosa da parte mia e di Anna.

“Happy Birthday! Here's something from Anna and me.”

Grazie, Ben. Sei il migliore! È fantastico. Anche gli altri bambini a scuola lo hanno.

“Thanks, Ben. You're the best! This is great. The other children at school have it, too.”

Spero ti piaccia il film. Io l'ho visto al cinema.

“I hope you like the movie. I've seen it in the cinema.”
