A10 The Study Group

十二月里，安娜和索菲亚在为他们的考试复习。

Shí'èr yuè lǐ, Ānnà hé Suǒfēiyà zài wèi tāmen de kǎoshì fùxí.

In December, Anna and Sophia are studying for their exams.

Anna looks at the notes from class and shows them to Sophia.

They start reading the sentences. The first part is easy to understand, but the second part of the subject is more difficult.

“你懂第十八个和第十九个句子吗，安娜？”

“Do you understand sentences number eighteen and nineteen, Anna?”

“Ah, thanks. Is this an adjective or an adverb?"

“坏？这是一个形容词，副词是坏。在这里不要使用大写字母。”

“Huài? Zhè shì yígè xíngróngcí, fùcí shì huài. Zài zhèlǐ búyào shǐyòng dàxiě zìmǔ.”

"'Bad'? That's an adjective, the adverb would be 'badly'. Don't use a capital letter here.”

After some minutes, they start again.

Anna opens her textbook.
