B10 In Hospital

当本回到家的时候，他看到安娜很明显地不舒服。这让他很担心。

Dāng Běn huí dào jiā de shíhòu, tā kàndào Ānnà hěn míngxiǎn de bú shūfu. Zhè ràng tā hěn dānxīn.

When Ben arrives at home he sees that Anna is clearly not well and he is worried about her.

“发生了什么？你要是生病了，应该马上给我发短信啊。”

“Fāshēngle shénme? Nǐ yàoshi shēngbìngle, yīnggāi mǎshàng gěi wǒ fā duǎnxìn a.”

“What happened? You have to send me a text message if you are ill.”

“我不知道，我只是感到恶心。可能是我在中午吃的瓜或生菜沙拉，或者是昨天吃的甜食。我之前感觉还行，但是我现在都快要摔倒了。”

“Wǒ bù zhīdào, wǒ zhǐshì gǎndào ěxīn. Kěnéng shì wǒ zài zhōngwǔ chī de guā huò shēngcài shālā, huòzhě shì zuótiān chī de tiánshí. Wǒ zhīqián gǎnjué hái xíng, dànshì wǒ xiànzài dōu kuàiyào shuāidǎole.”

“I don't know, I just feel sick. It might have been the melon or the lettuce salad I have eaten at midday or the sweets from yesterday. I felt not too bad earlier but now I was nearly falling down.”

“也许是病毒？你头疼吗？发烧还是咳嗽？”

“Yěxǔ shì bìngdú? Nǐ tóuténg ma? Fāshāo háishì késòu?”

“Maybe a virus? Do you have a headache? Fever or a cough?”

“不，我不咳嗽，我的头也没事。”

“Bù, wǒ bù késòu, wǒ de tóu yě méishì.”

“No, I am not coughing and my head is also fine.”

“我们应该去医院。你能动吗？”

“Wǒmen yīnggāi qù yīyuàn. Nǐ néng dòng ma?”

“We should go to the hospital. Can you move?”

“是的，但不要让我一个人待着。”

“Shì de, dàn búyào ràng wǒ yígèrén dāizhe.”

“Yes, but do not leave me alone.”

“你能换衣服吗？我会帮你拿上你的手袋还有钱包。你还需要什么？”

“Nǐ néng huàn yīfu ma? Wǒ huì bāng nǐ ná shàng nǐ de shǒudài hái yǒu qiánbāo. Nǐ hái xūyào shénme?”

“Can you change your clothes? I will take your purse and your wallet. What else do you need?”

“或许再带上雨衣或伞？今天会有雷雨。”

“Huòxǔ zài dài shàng yǔyī huò sǎn? Jīntiān huì yǒu léiyǔ.”

“Perhaps my raincoat or an umbrella? There will be a thunderstorm today.”

他们到了医院前台。本在表格里填了安娜的个人信息。他给了接待员填好的表格还有安娜的驾驶执照。一位友好的护士来了并告诉他们要等一个小时直到医生有空。

Tāmen dàole yīyuàn qiántái, Běn zài biǎogé lǐ tiánle Ānnà de gèrén xìnxī. Tā gěile jiēdài yuán tián hǎo de biǎogé hái yǒu Ānnà de jiàshǐ zhízhào. Yí wèi yǒuhǎo de hùshì láile bìng gàosù tāmen yào děng yígè xiǎoshí zhídào yīshēng yǒu kòng.

They arrive at the hospital reception and Ben puts Anna’s personal details on the form. He gives the receptionist the form and Anna’s driving licence. A friendly nurse arrives and tells them it will take an hour until a doctor is available.

安娜对此感到有点不高兴。她躺了下来。本给她带来了一条毯子和一瓶水。

Ānnà duì cǐ gǎndào yǒudiǎn bù gāoxìng, tā tǎngle xiàlái. Běn gěi tā dàiláile yì tiáo tǎnzi hé yì píng shuǐ.

Anna is a bit unhappy about that but lies down. Ben brings her a blanket and a bottle of water.

幸运的是，萨尔医生仅在三十分钟后就来了。他笑着用安娜的名字叫她过去。

Xìngyùn de shì, Sàěr yīshēng jǐn zài sānshí fēnzhōng hòu jiù láile. Tā xiàozhe yòng Ānnà de míngzì jiào tā guòqù.

Fortunately, Dr. Sall comes after only 30 minutes. He smiles and calls Anna by her first name.

“你是安娜，对吗？护士给了我你的血液检查结果，但结果都是阴性。你哪儿疼啊？”

“Nǐ shì Ānnà, duì ma? Hùshì gěile wǒ nǐ de xiěyè jiǎnchá jiéguǒ, dàn jiéguǒ dōu shì yīnxìng. Nǐ nǎ'er téng a?”

“You are Anna, right? The nurse gave me your blood test results, but they are all negative. What kind of pain do you have?”

“我的左半边脸疼得厉害，一直从脸颊疼到脑子里。”

“Wǒ de zuǒ bàn biān liǎn téng de lìhài, yìzhí cóng liǎnjiá téngdào nǎozi lǐ.”

“I have a strong pain on the left side of the face, from the cheek to the brain.”

医生仔细地给她看了看。当他触摸到她的脸颊时，她尖叫起来。

Yīshēng zǐxì de gěi tā kànle kàn. Dāng tā chùmōdào tā de liǎnjiá shí, tā jiānjiào qǐlái.

The doctor examines her. When he touches her cheek she starts screaming.

“我认为你的疼痛来自牙齿。你牙疼吗？”

“Wǒ rènwéi nǐ de téngtòng láizì yáchǐ. Nǐ yáténg ma?”

“I think the pain comes from a tooth. Did you have any toothache?”

“不是很明显，但是今天早上我用牙刷碰它时会感到疼。”

“Búshì hěn míngxiǎn, dànshì jīntiān zǎoshang wǒ yòng yáshuā pèng tā shí huì gǎndào téng.”

“Not really, but it hurt when I touched it with the toothbrush this morning.”

“你需要快点去看牙医。这很可能会变得更糟。你的爱人可以开车送你去吗？”

“Nǐ xūyào kuài diǎn qù kàn yáyī. Zhè hěn kěnéng huì biàn de gèng zāo. Nǐ de àirén kěyǐ kāichē sòng nǐ qù ma?”

“You need to see a dentist quickly. This could get worse. Can your partner drive you there?”

“是的，当然，我会陪着她的。但是我得先通知其他人。”

“Shì de, dāngrán,  wǒ huì péizhe tā de. Dànshì wǒ dě xiān tōngzhī qítā rén.”

“Yes, of course, I will accompany her. I just have to inform the others.”

“对不起，本，我让你今天的计划全泡汤了。我知道今晚是你的手球比赛。”

“Duìbuqǐ, Běn, wǒ ràng nǐ jīntiān de jìhuà quán pàotāngle. Wǒ zhīdào jīn wǎn shì nǐ de shǒuqiú bǐsài.”

“I am so sorry, Ben, I am spoiling everything for you. I know tonight is your handball match.”

“你变得好起来是最重要的事，比什么都重要。”

“Nǐ biàn de hǎo qǐlái shì zuì zhòngyào de shì, bǐ shénme dōu zhòngyào.”

“Above all, it is important now that you get better.”
