C6 The marriage

Sophia e Marc estão se casando. É o primeiro casamento que Anna e Ben vão juntos. Os noivos escolheram um local romântico para a celebração: um castelo acima de um vale com uma vista maravilhosa do rio que corre abaixo e de uma cachoeira.

Sophia and Marc are marrying. It is the first wedding Anna and Ben are attending together. The bride and groom have chosen a romantic location for their celebration: a castle above a valley, with wonderful views of the river which flows below and a waterfall.

Sophia usa um vestido tradicional. Anna abraça Sophia que está cumprimentando os convidados na entrada.

Sophia wears a traditional dress. Anna hugs Sophia who is greeting the guests at the entry.

“Sophia, você parece uma modelo. O vestido é lindo. Esses minúsculos botões cintilantes e a seda são realmente lindos. O comprimento destaca seus sapatos lindamente. Você mesma arrumou o cabelo ou teve um cabeleireiro? A propósito, eu trouxe minha pulseira antiga, apenas para o caso de você querer usá-la. ”

“Sophia, you look like a model. The dress is gorgeous. These tiny sparkling buttons and the silk are really beautiful. The length highlights your shoes beautifully. Did you do your hair yourself or did you have a hairdresser? By the way, I did bring my antique bracelet, just in case you want to wear it.”

“Oh Anna, muito obrigada! Eu estou tão nervosa! Estou apavorada que algo dê errado hoje. Espero que Marc esteja com os anéis. Ele deve ter pensado neles e os colocado de lado. ”

“Oh Anna, thank you so much! I'm so nervous! I'm terrified that something will go wrong today. I hope Marc has the rings. He must have thought of them and put them away.”

“Vou lembrá-lo disso. A arquitetura do castelo é absolutamente espetacular. Estou realmente impressionada com o que você realizou desde o anúncio do noivado. ”

“I'll remind him of it. The architecture of the castle is absolutely spectacular. I'm really amazed at what you've achieved since the engagement announcement.”

Sophia está aos prantos.

Sophia is in tears.

“Eu oro a Deus para que tudo fique bem. Haverá um concerto de violino e nem todos os integrantes da banda chegaram ainda. ”

“I pray to God that everything will be fine. There's going to be a violin concert and not all members of the band have arrived yet.”

“Não tenho dúvidas de que chegarão a tempo. Não tenha um ataque cardíaco, seu amor é a coisa mais importante hoje. ”

“I have no doubt that they'll arrive on time. Don’t have a heart attack, your love is the most important thing today.”

“Graças a Deus você está aqui! Isso me ajuda a manter a calma. O estresse é insuportável. ”

“Thank God you're here! It helps me to remain calm. The stress is just overwhelming.”

“Você está indo bem. Naturalmente você está assustada, afinal é seu primeiro casamento. Depois de alguns divórcios, ficará muito mais fácil organizar o evento. ”

“You're doing well. Naturally you're frightened, it's your first wedding after all. After a couple of divorces, it'll become much easier to organise the event.”

Um sorriso aparece no rosto de Sophia.

A smile appears on Sophia’s face.

“Você consegue guardar um segredo? Agora mesmo, Marc poderia me trair e eu ainda continuaria nosso relacionamento de qualquer maneira. ”

“Can you keep a secret? Right now, Marc could cheat on me and I would continue our relationship anyway.”

“Com sorte, você nunca terá que encarar essa questão. Ele nunca irá desapontá-la assim. ” Anna diz com confiança.

“Hopefully, you'll never have to face that question. He'll never disappoint you like that,” Anna says confidently

Um homem bem vestido se aproxima delas. Ele respira pesadamente.

A well-dressed man approaches them. He is breathing heavily.

“Desculpe! Eu sou o guitarrista. Você pode me dizer onde estão os outros músicos? ”

“Pardon me! I'm the guitarist.  Can you tell me where the other musicians are?”

“Eles estão se preparando na pista de dança.”

“They're preparing themselves inside, on the dance floor.”

A cerimônia começa e Sophia e Marc fazem seus votos. Quando Sophia é solicitada a obedecer a Marc, há risos na plateia.

The ceremony starts and Sophia and Marc take their vows. When Sophia is asked to obey Marc, there is laughter in the audience.

Quando Sophia e Marc são declarados marido e mulher, um cachorrinho aparece de repente e começa a latir. Marc o levanta e o passa para Sophia.

When Sophia and Marc are declared husband and wife, a little puppy appears suddenly and starts barking. Marc lifts him up and passes him over to Sophia.

“Ele ainda não sabe se comportar, mas esse monstrinho vai nos trazer felicidade. Ele é o primeiro membro da nossa nova família. ”

“He doesn't know how to behave yet, but this little monster will bring us happiness. He's the first member of our new family.”

Sophia não consegue conter as lágrimas de alegria e Anna tem que lhe passar um lenço de papel.

Sophia cannot stop her tears of joy and Anna has to hand her a tissue.

“Vamos chamá-lo de Trovão! Ele tem talento para interromper. ”

“Let's call him Thunder! He has a talent for interrupting.”

No final da noite, os convidados saem ao luar para ver os fogos de artifício.

At the end of the night, the guests go outside in the moonlight to see the fireworks.

Originalmente, Sophia e Marc haviam programado a lua de mel logo após o casamento, mas agora eles decidiram que só partirão em duas semanas.

Originally, Sophia and Marc had scheduled the honeymoon directly after the wedding, but now they have decided that they will only leave in a fortnight.
