The Concert

Stasera, Ben esce con i suoi amici. I suoi amici Max, un meccanico che era suo vicino di casa quando erano bambini, e Marc, un responsabile Informatico, arrivano. Bevono birra in giardino e parlano di rugby e partite di baseball. La squadra di casa è stata battuta in finale.

Tonight, Ben is going out with his friends. His friends Max, a mechanic who was his neighbour when they were children, and Marc, an IT manager, are coming. They drink beer in the garden and talk about the rugby and baseball matches. The local team was beaten in the final.

Ben ha comprato salsicce e hamburger. Lui griglia la carne mentre Max intrattiene Marc con storie sulle ultime tendenze degli sport estremi.

Ben bought sausages and burgers. He grills the meat while Max entertains Marc with stories about the latest trends in extreme sports.

Beh, ci vuole ancora molto? "

“Ben, do you need much longer?”

Dovrò lasciare le bistecche sul barbecue ancora un po '. Sono abbastanza spesse. Prendi un'altra lattina di birra.

“I will have to keep the steaks on the barbecue a bit longer. They are quite thick. Take another can of beer.”

Dopo cena, vanno allo stadio a piedi. Attraversano l'autostrada con un ponte e passano vicino a un pub.

After dinner, they go to the stadium on foot. They cross the motorway via a bridge and walk past a pub.

“It is so wet and windy tonight. I am freezing.”

“What about a drink indoors? I also can’t wait to get out of the cold!”

Buona idea! Devo anche andare al bagno velocemente. Allo stadio, le persone aspetteranno in fila fuori dal bagno dei visitatori, come al solito.

“Good idea! I also need to go to the toilet quickly. At the stadium people will be waiting in line at the visitor’s toilet as usual.”

Arrivano all'ingresso est. Ben mostra il suo documento da giornalista e lo staff apre un cancello speciale per loro. Marc indossa la fotocamera digitale di Ben. L'assistente pensa che sia un fotografo e dà loro dei posti vicino al palco. Anche Max può rimanere nell'area stampa.

They arrive at the east entrance. Ben shows his Journalist ID and the staff open a special gate for them. Marc carries Ben’s digital camera. The assistant thinks that he is a photographer and gives them seats close to the stage. Max can stay in the press area too.

Sono alla sinistra del palco e molto vicini ai ballerini. I cantanti sono su una piattaforma nel mezzo del palco. Ballano sotto la luce intensa nei loro abiti argentati.

They are on the left-hand side of the stage and very close to the dancers. The singers are on a platform in the middle of the stage. They dance under the bright lights in their silver dresses.

Quando la star finalmente arriva, tutti gridano il suo nome. Alcuni fan saltano nell'area stampa e cercano di arrimpicarsi sul palco.

When the star finally arrives, everybody shouts his name. Some fans are jumping down into the press area and try to climb on stage.
