They are going to the sea and will stay therefor fourteennights. They want to go walking in the countryside
and will also play tennis.
Sie nehmen ein Taxi zum Hotel. Sie bekommen die Schlüssel
für ihr Zimmer und tragen ihre Taschen dorthin.
They take a taxi to the hotel. They get the keys
for their room and carry their bags to it.
Das Zimmer ist sauber und hat ein Doppelbett. Es
hat auch ein Badezimmer mit Dusche und Toilette.
The room is clean and has a double bed. It also
has a bathroom with a shower and a toilet.
„Schau, du kannst die Boote draussen sehen.”
“Look, you can see the boats outside.”
„Denkst du, dass das Hotel einen Pool hat?”
“Do you think the hotel has a swimming pool?”
„Nein, das hat es nicht. Aber wir können im Meer schwimmen.”
“No, it doesn't. But we can swim in the sea.”
„Wirklich? Es war letzte Woche sehr kalt. Ich denke es
wird so kalt wie im Winter sein.”
“Really? It was very cold last week. I think it'll be as
cold as in winter.”
„Ich werde es trotzdemversuchen!”
“I'll try it anyway!”
Sie gehen die Treppe vom zweiten Stock
ins Erdgeschoss runter und verlassen das Hotel. Im Hotelgarten sind
einige Stühle. Ben nimmt sein Handy um sich seine E-Mails
anzuschauen.
They are going down the stairs from the second floor
to the ground floor and leave the hotel. In the hotel garden are some chairs.
Ben takes his mobile phone to look at his emails.
„Ben, wir sind im Urlaub! Vergiss das Internet und
deine Arbeit.“
“Ben, we're on holiday! Forget the internet and your work.”
„Nur eine Minute, Anna. Ich warte auf eine Antwort von
meinem Chef.“
“Just a minute, Anna. I'm waiting for an answer
from my boss.”
Anna ist gelangweilt. Sie nimmt ihr Buch und
beginnt zu lesen, während Ben E-Mails beantwortet. Dann nimmt
sie einen Stift um einen Brief zu schreiben.
Anna is bored. She takes her book and starts to read
while Ben is answering emails. Then she takes a pen to write a letter.
Ein Mann kommt mit seinem Sohn und seiner Tochterin den Garten und sie fangen an, einen Ball zu werfen.
Das kleine Mädchenfängt den Ball nicht und sucht ihn zwischen
den Bäumen. Es wird zu heiß in der Sonne. Der Jungefängt
an zu weinen aber seine Schwester lacht.
A man comes into the garden with his son and daughter
and they start to throw a ball. The little girl does not
catch the ball and is looking for it between the trees.
It is getting too hot in the sun. The boybegins
to cry but his sister laughs.
Ben fragt, ob er ihr Schachbrettausleihen
kann.
Ben asks whether he can borrow their chessboard.
„Anna, spiel Schachgegen mich.”
“Anna, play chessagainst me.”
„Nein danke. Ich glaube, das du viel besser bist als
ich.”
“No, thanks. I believe you're much better than I
am.”
„Oh, komm schon, das ist keine Entschuldigung.
Du solltest versuchen zu gewinnen.”
“Oh, come on, that's no excuse. You should try
to win.”
